Lee Academy senior, Elizabeth Butler, gave a FABULOUS performance yesterday afternoon in front of the Carnegie Library as part of the TN Williams Festival Bus Tour.
(Video HERE) is Karen Kohlhaas introducing Elizabeth and the featured play, Spring Storm (lots of Clarksdale history with this one!) (Video HERE) is Elizabeth's performance. At the very end you will see a man with his fist raised in the air. This man is Austin Pendleton, Tony nominated actor and director. All of the professional actors Elizabeth performed with yesterday were very complimentary of her. She represented Lee Academy so well, and we could not be more proud of her!
